- Monitor Stand: Custom built for less than $4 with two Daiso Unfinished Wood Containers ($.167 each) and a free painted white wood plank from my local home improvement store that was found in their wood cutting leftovers section. If you find free wood, you can ask them to cut it down to size, which I did (this monitor stand is 18″ wide.) Place the wood on top of the two wood boxes and voila! You have this nice aesthetic monitor stand.
